LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFFS REPORT WEEK ENDING MARCH 2

LINCOLN COUNTY – Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 32 traffic stops, 12 security checks, and two calls involving cars hitting deer. There was one report of unsafe driving. On Thursday February 27th, a deputy was dispatched to the area of USH 51 and USH 8 for the report of a car hitting a deer, injuring the driver. Upon arrival the deputy spoke with the 40-yr-old male driver from Tomahawk. He stated he was N/B on USH 51 when a deer crashed through the window of the driver’s side door and struck him in the shoulder. The driver was complaining of shoulder pain and was transported to Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital by Tomahawk EMS.
